Lifestyle Changes

In addition to controlling your other risk factors, it's important to know that you have to modify your lifestyle - specifically diet and exercise. In terms of exercise, it's generally recommended to do exercise for 30 minutes, three times a week - as much as you can tolerate and build this up over time. Cardiac rehab can help with this as well. In addition, it's important to change your diet. Some diets that I can recommend to you are vegetarian diets and Mediterranean diets, which have both been shown to help with coronary artery disease and prevent the disease.
